The decor was fine, and the location is perfect for exploring. I particularly loved the charming porch area for relaxation.

The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere of the house was so homely. Will definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

The place was fairly clean, I booked the king room with views of mountain, everything was nice. There were central heating, a safe, and multi-channel television in the room, appreciated that. The hotel was located in the center of the city. The breakfast was hearty and healthy, as well as reasonably priced.

It is set in a very relaxing area, walking distance to a museum and a main street. We can't wait to go back, very good value for money and an unbeatable and excellent location.

The staff has always been very attentive and best. The location of the hotel is beautiful, near all shops/ retaurants, the centre of Franschhoek, and coffee shops...

The location of Centre-Ville Guest House is perfect, just a block from Franschhoek's main street. My room was lovely, with an outside veranda that was ideal for enjoying a bottle of complementary wine in the early evening. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. It was excellent, showcasing a selection of fresh fruits, multiple bread options, and our choice of eggs served with great attention to detail. The owners and staff treated us like family. I encountered an issue with the shower. It seemed to have enough water for only one shower, surprising given my previous visits.

I adored the charming décor throughout this historic guest house, which set the mood for our stay. The lovely outdoor breakfast area was perfect for enjoying a delicious spread with fresh fruit, various breads, and perfectly cooked eggs to kickstart our day. Plus, the hospitality from the hosts, complete with wine and sherry in the room.

The town is amazing, and the guest house is as charming. Everything was perfect.

Very good value for money. We found the rooms neat, clean and tastefully designed with genuine antiques, lovely for a romantic get-a-way. The owners were very friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was tastefully prepared. Within walking distance of Somer of South Africa's best restaurants and within an easy drive to the wine-farms.We would stay here again.

Wonderful guest house with extremely accomdating hosts. The Centre-Ville is about 100m from the main street of Franshoek and easily accesible to the winery's and vineyards.

Centre-Ville is well positioned in the village. All the staff were welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the reception was warm and friendly.

Parking situation needs improvement!!! Narrow street and limited space made parking a hassle. Cold showers during Loadshedding were quite disappointing. More attention to power issues is essential!!!
